Are you ready to make changes in your life to be healthier?

Frumpy to Fabulous with Saving for My Family

Join me in a 52 Week challenge called Frumpy To Fabulous. I read the book Frumpy to Fabulous by Josette Puig and love her idea of only changing one thing per week. It makes it not so overwhelming to lose weight and help reach your goals. .

It only takes 21 days to create a new habit.

Here are some great quotes about habits:

Good habits, once established are just as hard to break as are bad habits” by Robert Puller

Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going.” by Jim Rohn

There will be weekly posts and I will go into a little bit more detail about the habit change that week. We can help to motivate each other and give each other tips.

I hope we can work together to live a healthier life.

Here are some examples of what the challenges will be:

Switch your coffee creamer to Unsweetened Almond Milk

Switch White Bread to Wheat Bread

Drink Water

If you would like to purchase the book so you can follow along you can below.

The challenge will start Monday. I hope you join me.

Great idea. I’d love to be able to lose weight. Unfortunately I have major back problems that cause my leg and foot to cramp up. I have sciatica so I can’t walk or stand for anymore than 5 min without being in lots of pain. I’m waiting to have surgery to fix my back. I miss walking at the marina by my house. I’m a cancer survivor so I know I can lose this weight. I just have to be patient, but it’s not easy.

Good luck to you. I agree it only takes 1 step at a time. I try to make weekly changes even if it is a small change, it helps me try to do better, 1 pound at a time.

Good habits really are just as hard to break as bad ones! I never thought it was true, until it happened to me!

  • Cassandra Huber

I have started making little changes like some of these mentioned in the past few years, and that is how i lost 60lbs right before getting pregnant with my son.

Changes are so hard. I want to start adding some organics into our diet and less processed foods. I have picky children. UGH. One change we have made recently is we are only allowed to have mac n cheese once a week. :) Its a small step.

I have tried those changes you mentioned and did not see much of a difference in weight after about a month. What works for me is completely leaving out bread and pasta, and substituting vegetables.
