I have been trying to get back into meal planning, it not only saves me my sanity it saves me money. I struggle sometimes to come up with ideas on what to make and I am always looking for new meal ideas. I use Pinterest a lot but I also love looking through cookbooks for ideas.

So I was real excited to get a chance to review Simply Delicious Sunday Dinners cookbook by Dina Foglio Crowell. She also has a blog where you can read some more about this great cookbook.

Simply Delicious Sunday Dinners

Sunday is usually the night where I make a bigger meal because I actually have time, so I can put more effort and time into meals.

Simply Delicious cookbook has 52 fresh homestyle recipes. There are 6 different food categories:

Chicken, Pork Chops, and Lamb

Simple Pastas and Seafood

Homestyle Favorite Beef Dinners

Warm Up Soups and Stews

Fresh Homemade Sides

Family Favorite Desserts

I have so many pages marked of meals I want to make. This past week I made Pasta Fagioli. The directions are very easy to follow and the soup turned out great. I also made Ashlynn’s Ambrosia Salad oh my gosh so good. This is going to be my go to for picnics and bbq’s this summer.

Here are some other recipes I want to try: Oven Fried Chicken Legs, Slow Cooker Shredded BBQ Chicken Sandwiches, Creamy Velveeta Cheeseburger Casserole and so many more.

You can purchase Simply Delicious Sunday Dinner Cookbook on Amazon. The kindle version is $7.99 and the paperback version is $16.99.
