Why Less bread?

The first question we have to answer is of course: why would we want to change the favorite like the sandwich? Why not just use bread? And why replace that bread with sweet potato? Sweet potatoes are – like ordinary potatoes – an excellent source of carbohydrates. They contain fibers that ensure a gradual absorption of the sugars.

There are several vitamin B vitamins and vitamin C in addition to beta-carotene, a substance that your body vitamin A to make. Finally, the sweet potato is rich in minerals: calcium, phosphorus, iron, potassium and copper. Certainly not bad for a snack or snack, in other words!

Prepare Sweet Potato Sandwich

Many people eat sweet potatoes cooked or grilled, but (almost) raw they are also delicious. This is good for the sweet potato sandwiches. It is the best when the slices are a bit crunchy! You are doing this by simply grilling the sweet potato in your sandwich iron. Cut a sweet potato in thin slices lengthwise.

Another option is of course not to invest double but few slices. So you use the slices of sweet potato more like a kind of crackers. This can also be varied indefinitely.

So you can cut round slices instead of elongated slices. If you invest with some nice toppings, then you have the ideal snack. It is also easy that you can prepare the sweet potato in your toaster. After all, you do not have any filling that easily falls out!
