Week 19 Frumpy to Fabulous

Welcome to Week 19 of the Frumpy to Fabulous Series this week habit change is Keep Non-Perishable Healthy Snacks in your car.  This will keep you from going to the drive thru or eating your kid’s snacks.

Keep portioned snacks and tucked away in your glove compartment or trunk of your car to keep you from mindless eating.

Some great healthy snacks to keep in your car are:

  • wheat crackers
  • almonds
  • rice cakes
  • tuna pouches
  • protein powder
  • oatmeal
  • peanut butter
  • almond butter

I  think this is such a great idea  you spend a lot of time in your car and there are fast food places everywhere. It is very tempting when you are hungry to stop at a drive thru when you are hungry. But if you have some healthy snacks in your car you can just grab that instead. Great way to stay on your diet and eat healthier.

I hope you are enjoying the Frumpy to Fabulous series, if you have missed any of the previous weeks you can check out the Frumpy to Fabulous board on Pinterest to catch up.

This is a great idea! I used to keep mints and sunflower seeds in my car! The ones in the shell give you the mouth satisfaction while slowing your consumption and then you don’t over eat the good for you kernels :)

Thats a great idea – especially for when we go on long drives into the city with the kids! Then we won’t have to stop at mcdonalds!
