Welcome to Week 37 of the Frumpy to Fabulous series. This week’s habit change is to Shop with a List.

People say don’t go grocery shopping when you are hungry but you also should have a list when you go shopping. Without a list it is really easy to go over budget and buy a lot of food you didn’t even plan on buying.

Here are some tips:

  • Make a weekly meal plan
  • make a daily meal plan
  • stay on the outside perimeter at the supermarket
  • avoid the inner isles of the store
  • if you eat the peel buy organic
  • choose grass fed and hormone free meat
