Welcome to Week 43 of the Frumpy to Fabulous this week’s habit change is to switch potato chips to whole grain crackers.

Potato chips are filled with trans fats, sodium and artificial ingredients. When you want a salty crunch eat a wheat cracker.

You can take it slow by:

  • switching from regular chips to baked chips
  • once you run out of baked chips replace it with whole wheat crackers
  • make your own sweet potato skins or kale chips. You can find easy recipe videos on Get Josette website.

This one won’t be to hard there are a lot of whole wheat crackers on the market. If you have missed any previous weeks you can see them all on the Frumpy to Fabulous Pinterest Board.

Ive actually found that some of the new crackers they have out and all the variety of flavors are way better then chips!

  • Baked has always been better and those whole wheat crackers are actually delicious. 🙂

We have switched from potato chips to other options like Food Should Taste good cracker/chips, beanitos and Way Better Snacks chips. It was hard at first but now when we eat chips we think they are too salty and greasy.

This is a great switch, I really don’t eat or buy potato chips too often.

I prefer crackers over chips but I am of the mindset that if we don’t have it, we won’t eat it so I don’t buy chips anymore. My kids haven’t noticed and it’s easier not to eat them when they aren’t in the house.

Great idea. I do enjoy whole grain crackers and try to look for new brands or I try to find the healthiest made chips.
